Drilon, Albania

Drilon is a small park and wetland reserve 5 kilometres east of Pogradec on Lake Ohrid, centred on a series of spring-fed canals shaded by weeping willows. A wooden footbridge crosses the water to a small island with a restaurant, and rowing boats can be rented. The park was a favourite retreat of Enver Hoxha, whose former villa sits on the hill above.
