Where to Go After Vlore

Llogara National Park (40 km south, 40 min): The dramatic mountain gateway to the Albanian Riviera at 1,027m. Panoramic viewing platform overlooking the entire coastline, hiking trails, mountain restaurants, and paragliding. The drive up the SH8 through the pass is an experience in itself.

Zvernec Monastery (12 km north, 20 min): A 13th-century Orthodox monastery on a wooded island in the Narta Lagoon, reached by a curved wooden footbridge. Byzantine frescoes, cypress and pine forest setting. Excellent birdwatching at the lagoon, especially during migration seasons.
