Lezhe sits on the SH1 highway, Albania’s main north-south artery connecting Tirana to Montenegro. The road is in excellent condition. The castle is visible from the highway on the hill to the west of town. The road to Shengjin Beach (5 km) is straight and flat through agricultural land. From Lezhe, the scenic drive along the Drin River delta to the Kune-Vain Lagoon takes 15 minutes on a secondary road.
